The first time I heard The Lumineers it was the piano riff in Ophelia. I found it mesmerising and prompted me to go ahead and listen to their album. I liked it from the get go. I think it’s a very “complete” band, very present and aware on the stage.

On a photographers note: The light was easy enough for this gig. The only drawback was the lack of background light which tends to give the viewer the feeling there is a big black hole behind the artists.
