According to the Rolling Stones magazine Patti Smith is amongst the 100 greatest artists of all time, and I had the chance to see, hear and photograph her tonight. I grew up hearing songs like Gloria quite a bit, too young to care who it is. When I got the assignment and I started listening to what she does I was instantly thrown back in time, …. what a feeling 🙂

On a technical note: The light was easy and simple for this gig: white. The biggest challenge was the position that I was stuck in, I had to shoot from the right side 8 meters away from her. I used the 24-70 and 70-200 for this gig.
