James Arthur won the X-Factor show in 2012, I am not a fan of these shows, as I think they rarely produce artists that will last long in the show business. James Arthur might just be an exception. I remember I was hanging out with a friend when I heard his version of “Impossible” for the first time. I was quite impressed, bought his CD and really liked it. When I saw Luxembourg on his tour schedule I was really looking forward to hear, see and photograph him. He delivered a solid performance last night. He might be in the business for a while even though starting out from a casting show …. 😉
On a technical note:Â The light was great this time around. It was very varied and quit bright enough. It was tough on the rest of the band though. They remained in the dark for the hole three songs. James was moving around a lot on stage, so that made for a challenge. I was lucky enough to have him stop just before me once or twice to get some really nice close up shots. I used the 28-75 mm and the 70-200m for this gig.
