I slept 3 hours last night, I’ve had a very long day with temperatures around 30°. When I got to the venue and the lady told me to get to the backstage door at 22:10 I thought she made a mistake. I said: “Errrr you mean 21:10, that’s late if it starts at 21:00” ? (The gig was supposed to start at 21:00) The lady: “Oh no no, you can photography the LAST three songs of the gig”. I thought the gods of sleep were punishing me for some reason beyond my comprehension. But let me tell you that it was well worth the wait ….. I’ve photographed Foals in 2015 (link here) an besides shooting one of my all time favourite concert shots I fell in awe for the band.

On a technical note: Wow, …… superbe light, lots of movement. I love all of it. I used the 15mm and the 24-70 for this gig.
