I haven’t see Den Atelier packed like that in a long time. The stage was beautifully setup, and german singer/songwriter Clueso did a great job entertaining the crowd. The show was a mixture of styles that made for a very entertaining show. We were 7 photographers in a tiny pit though, … and I learned yesterday that not every concert photographer adheres to the not written “code of conduct” in the pit. There’s nothing more annoying than a photographer using the live view screen and stretching out to the max with his limbs, … let alone in a tiny crowded pit. Guys, ….. behave please !!!
On a technical note: It was ok I guess. We had one set of light for each song. Blue, Red and natural light. Rarely mixed it made for quite bland colors, added to the fact that there was no easy way to move around in the pit made it a difficult task. I used the 24-70mm F2.8 for this gig.
