I remember the last time I saw Amy McDonald was at an open air venue here in Luxembourg. What I do remember best is that I left the venue with a very positive feeling. I loved her show, her presence on stage but most of all her ability to reach out to the crowd and connect. Nowadays this counts as a rarity amongst the artists and deserves a lot of respect. At least in my book it does. Which leads me to todays gig. I loved it, she hasn’t lost her touch. I found the lights on Amy were good but the background got a bit lost. Other than that it was a joy to photograph and I hope to see Amy McDonald back in front of my camera pretty soon.
